When I install or reinstall the app, the first time it executes, it´s setting the spanish language correctly.
But, starting it by the second time, defaults the language to english and I can´t re-change it to spanish.
I tried replacing the locale and the qt files. It does´t work.

Any idea?

  1. Check access permissions to ~/.config/eiskaltdc++/ directory.
  2. Compare config ~/.config/eiskaltdc++/EiskaltDC++_Qt.conf when program is running and settings have been applied and after program exit.

Hi,

Now I have macbook and may confirm that old versions of program had a number of macOS specific bugs. I have recently fixed them and now all should work fine.

Please try the last build (2.2.10-228-macOS10.11) of EiskaltDC++ from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/eiskaltdcpp/files/macOS/devel/
Or you may install it using homebrew.

Despite this version looks less than previous, it is more recent. Yes, we have used very strange versioning scheme for development builds in the past... See short discussion with homebrew maintainer: Homebrew/homebrew-cask#51111
