Auto close app picker

It'd be rad if after you clicked on the app picker grid and clicked somewhere else, like Discover, we auto closed the app picker.

At the moment it just hangs open and takes up space.

Somewhat related to #644 and #1548 but different enough, as the app switcher is unique and there is no reason to leave it open if the user starts interacting with the current app again (unlike other config dropdowns, like the time picker).

I'm going to close this because we're redesigning the navigation in such a way that the app switch will go away, thus making this irrelevant
