Steps to reproduce

  1. Run docker container v1.9.6
  2. Use resize handle to shrink a section (e.g. people)
  3. Resize handle disappears

I can't seem to get them back.

played with it a bit... seems like if i shrink a section just the right amount it will pop up with "show 5 more" or whatever, and the handle will still be visible... but if i shrink it not exactly the right amount, the handle will disappear under another element or something

I have dabbled a bit with the reproduction steps and haven't been able to reproduce it so far. There has been a bit of work in that area lately. Would you be able to test this on develop.element.io that has all the latest and greatest to confirm whether this is still happening for you or not?

i have just confirmed it still happens on develop.element.io, and have recorded a video. you can watch the handle slide under another element several times, and because in the last instance i do not release the mouse button in an "ideal" area, i am unable to recall the handle again after that:

i've confirmed that this behavior is not found in chromium browser, where the "show N more" and handle remain on top of other elements in the app. this appears to be an issue with rendering in firefox.
