2018 Bachelor Thesis @ UniFi

Introduction

This repo contains the code for the Bachelor Thesis in Computer Science and Engineering at University of Florence.

The Thesis is titled: Neural Networks for handwriting analysis with smart-pen.

Structure

The repo is structured as follow:

• HWR_IAM

  

  Hand Writing Recognition on IAM dataset and CNN network training and fine-tuning processes.

• Thesis_BHK

  

  Bachelor's thesis main repository, containing:

  • brand new dataset from >100 children from 6 to 12 yo;
  • definition of the BHK method method with features manually extracted from writing
  • usage of CNNs from HWR_IAM (pre-trained and fine-tuned) for classification task (dysgraphia or not)
  • Bachelor Thesis writes in LaTeX
  • Bachelor Thesis slides in LaTeX
