ALQO v6.6.1

Changes

Bans wallets older than 6.6.0.
Extra checkpoints added.

This release doesn't require resyncing from zero like the previous release. The only time a resync will be needed is if your current wallet/chain is forked.

If your node is forked or you haven't synced in a long time (eg: using wallet older than 6.6.0):

• Delete all files in roaming folder: C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\alqocrypto except the files (do not delete these): wallet.dat, alqo.conf and masternode.conf (on Linux .alqocrypto directory)
• Remove all addnodes from alqo.conf this is to ensure the seed nodes are used for syncing the chain
• Open the new wallet and let it fully sync

Release 6.6

Required Update:

The main focus of this latest version is to avoid wallet forks; for that, we added several checkpoints, and we updated the hardcoded seeds; also, we did other minor fixes like:

• Added hardcoded seeds to avoid forks and get the correct chain
• Disable some intense debug info
• Bump version to 6.6
• Add checkpoints to avoid forks
• Fix some broken links of dependencies
• Fix wrong port in seeds contrib tool

Make a clean resync using the following steps (reindexing existing chain will not work, neither will chain snapshot as these are from pre 6.6 releases):

• Delete all files in roaming folder: C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\alqocrypto except the files: wallet.dat, alqo.conf and masternode.conf (on Linux .alqocrypto directory)
• Remove all addnodes from alqo.conf this is to ensure the seed nodes are used for syncing the chain
• Download and unzip the boostrap.zip in the alqocrypto folder/directory
• Open the new wallet and let it fully sync

ALQO 6.4
