Pendulem with Pivot on Disk

  • This is a course project for Analytical Mechanics II
  • Problem: describe the motion of a pendulum with pivot on a frictionless disk that rotates freely
  • Simulations implemented in Pytohn
  • Euler–Lagrange differential equations for this problem are stiff. Therefore, Scipy BDF solver is used
  • Results are illustrated with Matplotlib
  • Collaborators: Zahra Akbari, Ermia Etemadi, Sepide Hosseini, Mozhgan Orujlu
