See esmero/archipelago-deployment#54

Basically fix the last deprecation notices and bump compatibility version to 8.8 | 9.x, remove (Gosh Drupal it was never deprecation i had an IF around!!) last conditional to make 8.7 work well. Not needed nor possible if we want to allow 9.x
