I don't see any explicit tests for this method on any other type. Maybe it's being tested indirectly, but I'm not sure how. It doesn't seem to affect my use-case, so I'm leaving it unimplemented for now. Just leaving this note here for when it inevitably comes up...

  • find test that probes the method somehow, in any other type
  • replicate the test for ByteList
  • implement the method to pass the test
