So it's a conscious decision. But then the README is different from the
tests.
So in my opinion tests or readme should be fixed to line up.

Since I had trouble to implement said function for my own track, I wanted to sneak peak here, but its not implemented here…
I finally got it fixed for erlang (in fact my tests were wrong, not the function ;)).
Task:

tests from https://github.com/exercism/problem-specifications/blob/master/exercises/complex-numbers/canonical-data.json are present in https://github.com/exercism/haskell/tree/master/exercises/complex-numbers/testexp
to stub https://github.com/exercism/haskell/blob/master/exercises/complex-numbers/src/ComplexNumbers.hs so that students will be able to see it when working on the exercise.exp
to the example https://github.com/exercism/haskell/blob/master/exercises/complex-numbers/examples/success-standard/src/ComplexNumbers.hs so that the example can verify the tests are correct.exp
