not that I think it is a good idea to use that OS, but maybe windows Vista qualifies as well here...

Vista (and Windows server 2008) does indeed also support this; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbolic_link#Windows_7_.26_Vista_symbolic_link

As far as I know, links (NTFS junctions) were introduced in NTFS 5, that first shipped with windows 2000. Vista indeed supports handles it, but it does depend on NTFS being used. |
