The button works to remove the header from a stream but then breaks that stream so it can't be turned back on again. An easy way to fix this in the meantime is to switch the driver with themself and the header will return.

I believe we found a work-around for this issue in the plugin and that's about the best we can do.

Noted, but also: I will close the issues when their solutions are in a release that makes it to the Elgato store, otherwise there are problems still out there that normal users might run into, and need the information in this issue to figure out what is going on.
