Hi. I am trying to fabricate the uploaded the PCB gerber file and forwarded it for PCB fabrication. Its look like there are some design issues they are facing before the fabrication. The following issues has been raised by fabrication engineer and need to be fixed. Kindly go through the issue and help me to fix these issues.

  1. Two drill files are given, hole.drl & via.drl. What are the roles of these two files?.
  2. In your design, the drill to drill distance is 0.08mm. Can we increase upto 0.15mm?.
  3. In your design the TT-TP-PP-TW is 0.0179mm. Can we increase upto 0.125mm?
    UCA_PCB_Error.pdf

I have attached a error document in detail. PFA.

It should be useful if you share the schematic document as well.

TIA,
Prakash

Hi Prakash,

This main issues are due to the fact that I've done manually the layout.

So I havent't any schematic document (just the electrical connection shown in the main page of my github.

  1. via.drl are PTH, hole.drl are non-PTH

  2. I tried to add a maximum of pads for various connection, so some drill distance do not respect the 0.15mm. If it can help, all the drill that do not respect the D2D distance are electrically connected.

  3. I confirm that the best option is a suggested, to making short where PAD TO TRACK error found. I used an isolation of 0.25mm between the track that need to be disconnected.

Hope it help

Fabien
