I just started using this package and I was expecting that On Changes was for any modified file (modified and not yet saved). I searched for info about it and found #272 and #398, so it appears I'm not alone.

If you'd change the description in the settings from this

Only colour icons when file is modified

to this

Only colour icons for modified files in a git repository

then I think no one would be confused. Thanks!
