Flutter Web does not work on LibreWolf: Big padding at the bottom and no mouse clicks #147827
Comments
We don't test the CPU fallback in CanvasKit, and we may even remove the CPU mode, requiring GPU to render. LibreWolf should add WebGL support (if they need to render on the CPU, they could use SwiftShader). |
Thanks for the answer. I did some research and found out that LibreWolf disables WebGL by default because it's often used for fingerprinting vectors: https://librewolf.net/docs/features/#:~:text=Disable%20WebGL%2C%20as%20it%20is%20a%20strong%20fingerprinting%20vector. You can enable WebGL in the settings: With WebGL is works (but a bit blurry): |

Steps to reproduce
flutter create temp
cd temp
flutter run -d chrome
Alternatively, you can just open https://flutter.github.io/samples/web/material_3_demo/ using the LibreWolf browser.
Expected results
Flutter app shouldn't have the offset at the bottom and should be able to register mouse clicks.
Actual results
Offset at the bottom and mouse clicks are ignored.
