flutter_windows_v1.12.13+hotfix.8-stable showing a black screen between the splash screen and the home screen #52168

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Creating a new flutter project
  2. Running the newly created app

I think it only shows for debug build

This wasn't the case before updating to hotfix 8 and the release build also has it

i have a similar issue when I expend the window. a black screen that will go away to reveal the content when I move the pointer in the window (from the title bar into the window) same thing if I minimize.
@nateshmbhat despite the name, only debug build is ultimately available for windows and linux.

I see there's an open issue addressing the case you described.
Please follow up on that issue,
