doc: update versions of platform and components; typos
I went through the docs and update all outdated version numbers I could find, both of the platform itself as well as components and packages. Additionally: - fix some typos - improve some unclear phrasing - refer to search.flyingcircus.io as well PL-132670

doc/devhost: pull in current docs from 21.05
We've massively rebuilt the devhost away from containers towards VMs. But for now that component still runs on 21.05 hardware, so documentation is just copied from there. Leaving this file as rst to allow keeping both branches synchronised. PL-132670
