Suggestion: automatically close pop-up when using computer, otherwise keep open

I'm using Feed Notifier to keep track of what's happening in my work git, JIRA and TeamCity. I don't want to miss a single notification, so I use Infinite Duration pop-ups, but on the other hand, it's a bit annoying to always manually close the pop-up.

It would be nice to have the pop-up close automatically after a given duration when I'm using the computer (as in typing or clicking something else), but keep it open infinitely when I'm away!
