Release Beta 2

Changes since Beta 1:

  • Reworked lighting in the whole map - it is darker now and almost no extremely light spots
  • Added lamps around armors
  • Fixed missing texture above lamp in front of upper GL tele
  • Added clip above upper GL tele
  • Fixed wrong ceiling texture in RA area
  • Changed upper faces on stairs to make them less bright
  • Added floor decorations - bands on corners, to make it easier to navigate in textureless mode
  • Completely changed teleporters style - now they are based original Reflex's version from the final map (The Catalyst, not Catalyst Pure unlike the rest of the map).
  • Removed last plates
  • Added some vertical bands to make the walls not so solid grey
  • Added one new light near to RA RL
  • Added horizontal decorative band in RA room
  • Fixed some overlapping brushes
  • Changed face of the GL platform to dark grey
  • Added lights on roof decorations in RA room

Release Beta 1

  • Changed light floor texture
  • All teleporters aligned with shape, size and textures
  • Added clip brush below sky
  • The elevator platform now has wholes preventing the person going up with elevator safely escape rockets from below
  • Softened lights, a lot of lights removed
  • Decorations above the roof in RA room
  • Added additional decorations mainly around RA/MH and teleporters to make them not so simple then textures are off
  • Added lamp above GL teleport
  • Added lamps around weapons
  • Added artificial lamps in some hallways

Release Alpha 11

  • Added Quad[EXPERIMENTAL!]
  • Updated lighting
  • Upper RL moved on a platform
  • Make the cells area around upper RL "jumpable"
  • Some grey borders around the map added
  • RL ammo moved from the entrance to elevator to the wall
  • Added HP in lower RL corridor to correspond original shards
  • Make RA platform "walkable" but still suffer from lava
  • New floor textures for some areas
  • Lowered a step on mega to allow perfect jump from stairs to get to it
    (will require huge initial speed, probably from RJ)
  • Removed 15hp from GL tele entrance
  • Sealed some decorative elements

  • Changed the geometry of the slope in ramp-jump from upper RL
  • Small cell moved from the elevator upper entrance to
    downstairs under mega

Alpha 10

Release Alpha 10.
This release features major geometry updates, with the main focus on performance.

  • Revised geometry to increase performance - the huge work on polygons done by QuakeR, thanks!
  • Used textures for plates instead of plates brushes.
  • Geometry updates:
    • Some ledges are deepened
    • Added possibility to jump from the upper RA spawn up
      on the stair
    • Restored the second YA 'step' to be able to jump from
      upper RL spawn to YA
    • Increased length of the MH stairs and ramp
  • Items update
    * Added 2 healhpacks at GL spawn
    * Added big cells pack around the elevator befor jump to MH

Release Alpha 9.
This release contains only major geometry change - panels on the walls as in original map. The geometry therefore in some places might be misaligned, and the holes between panels are not sealed yet with invisible walls, so the grenades hitting the wholes might bounce to not predictable direction.

  • Fixed geometry glitch on lava. now one can't stuck in lava
  • Industrial lights (all but GL) moved to ceilings
  • Replaced one of the 'broken' floor lamps
  • Changed values for elevator
  • Fixed geometry of the round stairs
  • Healthpacks in front of Mega under YA now jumpable again as in Reflex, and not walkable. Changed after discussion that it will provide the neccessity to jump in the fights around lower RL.
