Java Central or Command Station

JCS is a project which started initially to enhance the screen of the Marklin CS 2. The Command Station has a 7" screen and I wanted to show my layout on a bigger screen. As Time did go by my CS2 died, bought a CS3, whic has capabilities of a web screen the project shifted more toward automatic driving. To me it is a hobby project te experiment to try an fail, so slowly I have created lots of functionality:

  • Throttle showing also the function icons which are automatically downloaded from the Central Station
  • Automatic discovery of the ip address of the Central station
  • Screen to draw the layout
  • Screen to import the locomotives (roster) from the Central Station
  • Screen to import the accessories (turnout and signals from the Central Station
  • Screen to visualize the flow of trains, sensors, signal and turnout showing there status
  • Some more little things

Next step will be (real) automatic driving
