The date formats available in ERPNext are only expressed numerically, i.e. 01-12-2025.
Could you please make it an option to express the month in short (or long) format i.e 01-DEC-2025 instead of 01-12-2025
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Numerical only options can make it confusing when trading with other countries where the date order is different.
For example in the UK the date 01-12-2025 is the 1st of December 2025 but to an American customer the date would be the 12th of January 2025
Describe the solution you'd like
Make the use of short or long month options (i.e. DEC or December) available in ERPNext.
Describe alternatives you've considered
None available in ERPNext that I have seen available.
Additional context
Nothing to add
