Gameplay setup
Menu for selecting game settings and starting the game. Use the ↑ ↓ keys to navigate, ← → keys to change the value of the selected item, the Enter key to choose the selected item and the Escape key to go back to the Main menu screen.
The REGION option is used to select the regional version of the game. Two versions are available, with different framerate and timing. To learn more about the regional versions and how exactly they differ from each other, see Game regions page.
The RNG TYPE option allows you to choose one of seven different randomizing algorithms. Each algorithm is different and gives sequences of different quality, some easier with an even pieces distribution, and others more challenging, not avoiding drought and floods. See RNG types for more details.
The third option is LEVEL, which allows you to select the starting level of the game. The range of available starting levels is complete and allows you to choose the level from the one with the lowest descent speed (which is 0), all the way up to 19, with the highest supported speed. The highest available starting level number is the same in both supported regions. For more information, see the Game regions page.
If you want to start the game according to the selected settings, choose the START option.
Select the BACK option to return to the Main menu screen.
Below the menu items, a list of your three highest scores is displayed, sorted in descending order by score (column on the right). Each record contains the starting and ending levels, the number of lines cleared, the so-called tetris rate, i.e. the percentage of points obtained by clearing tetrises (clearing four lines at once using a longbar), as well as total score.
