KuberneticOS is a Web Desktop for kubernetes. It has a real window manager written in react and mimics/acts like a real desktop. The resemblence with Microsoft Windows is done on purpose, the main goal of this project is to give users the feeling of something that they already know can be applied to kubernetes. This projects aim to release also MacOS, Gnome, KDE look and feel.

🧐 About

A desktop for kubernetes that will incorporate: A package manager(HELM Charts) for Kubernetes in order to install stuff to your kubernetes cluster that will seamless integrate with KuberneticOS. Node,RS,RC,Pod etc management. Taskbar right click , kubernetes task manager with multi level drill down.

🏁 Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system. Simply use yarn , yarn start.

Prerequisites

A kubernetes cluster or minikube for development. The project outcome is actually a container so you really need a docker instance somewhere or kubernetes.
