Currently the UI starts with no file loaded.
Files can be opened from the menu or with drag n drop,
but it is not possible to return to the initial state with no file loaded.

What is the use of returning to blank??

When I have a file open and I want to quickly drop some text in the ascii column, or binary data in the data column to inspect it, this would save me from having to start a new instance.
