Feature request: Remember search history across instances #1666
Comments
All of those have a history on the dropdown beside the entry, so "all" it needs is for someone to make a pull request to save and restore those. |
Also if you open files (in tab) from a remote server and you accidentally open geany without having connection to the remote server, you lose all the tabs and there is no way to restore them. That would be handy |
@BarbzYHOOL that has nothing to do with saving search criteria history, please do not hijack issues, make a separate one. |
Closing Geany seems to clear the search history in "Find", "Find in Files" and "Replace", and thus the previous searches are not remembered across Geany instances. Remembering them would be quite handy !
