NTR inhibition of ectopic tissue mineralization #24228
Comments
+[Term] |
However this results in: label: inhibition of tissue mineralization I think we are loosing some nuance here. How about: inhibition of non-skeletal tissue mineralization, def: A homeostatic process involved in the maintenance of non-mineral tissue, by preventing mineralization of non-skeletal tissue. There is no term in Uberon that groups all soft tissues, but skeletal tissue includes bones, cartilage and teeth. What do you think ? |
See geneontology/go-annotation#4338
To annotate genes that increase levels of inorganic pyrophosphate, a mineralization inhibitor that prevents ossification/mineralization of non-bone tissue.
Parent could be: GO:0001894 tissue homeostasis
definition: A homeostatic process involved in the maintenance of non-mineral tissue, by preventing
ectopicmineralization of non-bone tissue.References:
