XeLaTeX (app-text/texlive with xetex USE flag) and Pandoc (app-text/pandoc) are needed to build ePub and PDF versions of documents. HTML version requires rustdoc only, so it is not mandatory.

How do we treat this dependencies?

  1. Adding to DEPEND,
  2. Notifying using einfo, or
  3. Ignore at all.

I prefer 2. > 3. > 1., because Pandoc and TeX Live are too heavy to require all users who want just HTML docs.

Could you also exclude .epub files from compression?
