sci-libs/opencascade-7.5.2-r6 - the masked sci-electronics/kicad-5.1.12-r3 still depends on this version, as well as the dev-python/cadquery-ocp-7.5.2_beta::sci. The latter has an updated version which depends on 7.5.3.

@waebbl I see you mean sci-libs/opencascade. Pretty nasty to block even 7.5.2 from removal. @zpuskas kicad-5 still necessary to keep almost a year after mask? Can occ be dropped alternatively?

sci overlay is not part of our considerations but good to know they have a bump available.

I was thinking about blocking this version for several months already. If not for the kicad package I would have dropped this version long ago.
Blocking wouldn't hurt much, IMO, as the only revdep is blocked as well.

@a17r , @waebbl Opencascade (>=sci-libs/opencascade-7.3.0) is used by recent KiCad series, so we cannot completely drop the package. What I can do is to drop KiCad 5 series and go through opencascade packages and fix them up and drop old versions where needed, but only after the holidays.

@zpuskas No one is talking about dropping the package, but cleaning up old versions, and only kicad-5 is standing in the way of that.
