If passing -Wno-error=incompatible-pointer-types is considered an acceptable workaround to avoid build failures with GCC 14 in the stable ebuild, I'll add another commit to do so. Just let me know.

I would say don't bother - gcc 14 is a while away from release and we'll hopefully have 1.0 stabled by then. Thanks for asking though.
