Open Science Critique

I think the open science policy is very beneficial. Initially, I saw it as another chore for a grade in the class. However, after using sites like Github and Figshare, I saw the benefit of sharing information and ideas. On the Github site, I saw people all over the world forking and sharing information. It was amazing to see that type of collaboration.

The open science idea is very useful in the final lab project. The arduino code is easily obtainable from other Github uses. I found arduino code necessary to my project on the Github site. These codes make programming the arduino so much easier rather than trying to create the code from scratch.
