GISMO data types

GISMO data types (classes) - and the sort of data you can put in them

• waveform - for seismic timeseries data

  • datasource - for describing where to get seismic timeseries data from
  • filterobj - for describing a filter (and applying it to a waveform)
  • scnlobject - for station-network-network-location channel identification

• Catalog - for seismic event catalog event

  • EventRate - for earthquake counts, i.e. number of earthquakes per unit time (and energy per unit time)

• rsam - for Real-time Seismic Amplitude (RSAM) data

• sacpz - for Seismic Analysis Code (SAC) pole-zero instrument response descriptions
