I'm using an EHR for work, and when I try to open up a file that's saved in the client's chart, I get an error message saying pop ups are not allowed. I have checked to make sure they're allowed, and they are, so I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this. I switched over to Station after using the Shift app for over a year, and in that app, the document would open up in a separate window, and in what appeared to be a PDF reader that allowed me to look at each page of the document and scroll up and down. I'd like to be able to do the same, but for now, just want to be able to open up this document.

Because I'm in a program such as this, I can't really reproduce the steps. The program I use is called TheraNest if that helps. When I'm in the client's chart, I click on the "General Documents" tab, which then shows each document saved. I double click on the document I want to open, and the window that pops up (ironically) says "Browser prevented opening pop up window. To open file, enable it in browser options."

Help! :)
thanks.

  • Application version: [e.g. 2.2.1]
  • OS: [Windows 10, MacOS 13.4, CentOS 7 ...]

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

PS I decided to make Chrome my default browser instead of Safari. Once I did this, I got the same error message, but then in a separate window, Chrome opened up the site, but there's an error message there that says "{"Message": Authorization has been denied for this request."}

I'll try to check your problem.
As a workaround, try Cmd+Shift+Click to open a link.
