I used the documentation example here to set a sample page as my homepage. However, it still has the "Return to Index" button at the bottom. This is not expected.

hi Michael, those instructions basically suggest how to give a static page the special file name 'index.html'

By doing so, the page will become your landing page but the contents are effecitvely rendered as those of any standard page, so you get the 'Back to Index' button at the bottom and this is, in a certain way, expected.

Maybe I can add an hack so that the button is not rendered if the page_name is index though. Will updated this with more comments.

Turns out I decided to remove the 'Back to Index' button entirely. We keep it for navigation only.
