SingleFile do not breakdown spoiler #258
Comments
There are many ways to implement spoilers and, unfortunately, it is impossible to implement such a feature in SingleFile in a generic way, i.e. that would work on all websites. |
Please, what are those ways to implement this feature? I want to say that SingleFile is the best plugin I used to save HTML pages. It gives the good and clean work than the other plugins that I used before. Really, great work. |
Thanks. I've never seen a plugin that implements this feature. Could you cite me an example? |
This plugin called "UnMHT". |
I just did the test with UnMHT (8.3.2) in Firefox 56.0a1 and this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Collapsible_sections_option. On my end, the sections (in violet) are not broken down in the saved page. |
Sorry, I'm confused. It's probably not exactly unMHT. Here are two files (in french) of my archives where for the first one spoilers are breaking down many times (see "où s'informer?") and for the second one the carrousel is playing. Thx |
Sorry, I did not see the last part of your answer. You want to save scripts actually. By default, SingleFile removes scripts because they can alter the rendering and I cannot guarantee they will work. However, you can save them by unchecking the option "Other resources > remove scripts" ("Autres ressources > supprimer les scripts") and optionally checking the option "Misc. > save raw page" ("Divers > sauvegarder la page brute"). |
SingleFile don't breakdown spoilers to permit read them offline after saving the page.
