Do you want to request a feature or report a bug?
Bug

What is the current behavior?
Creating new branch through "Create Branch" from commit window does not reflect on window title.

If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem.
For example, if we want to submit a patch for master we work on master working branch and at the time of commit we choose to create branch through commit window and submit changes to newly created branch which later expected to be raised PR against.

What is the expected behavior?
Commit window title is expected to reflect "Commit to patch" instead of "Commit to master". Functionality works as expected, it's just visual which is incorrect.

Environment you encounter the issue:

  • GitExtensions version:2.50.01
  • GIT version: 2.13.3.windows.1
  • OS version: Windows 7

Did this work in previous version of GitExtensions (which)?
Not sure.
