This project is a website template for a minimal, complete and nice blog. It is inspired mainly of Medium and Google Developer Blog. But, here you can configure, and you are owner of your article 😄.

It is completely free for hosting with GitHub and for code source with this open source project. To configure your own domain name you can buy a domain name at your preferred supplier, else you will have a default free domain name.

You have a blog with a pagination for each article, your visitor have a nice search bar to retrieve easily your article. They can comment them, and share on social networks, and browse easily in each article thanks to an interactive table of contents.

You can write a simple text file and your article is automatically formatted and standardized as your other articles. And in this article you can share all contents as you want: presentation, video, diagram, math formula, code, quote, text, image, emoticon. See Getting Started article.

Other authors can also write on your blog, or you can write article with several authors.

In addition, the blog is highly visible, configurable and secure.

Visible

First, the website is responsive, the render is beautiful for all devices as smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Then, it is optimized for web search engine, your article will be correctly indexing by search engine as Google, Yahoo or Bing. You can use freely Google Analytics to improve user experience and track the success of your blog.

Configurable

You can configure and change what you want, with simple files of configuration, and even go to further by coding easily your web component if you are a developer.

Secure

No admin interface available on the web, we can configure directly your site and write your articles locally. You can monitor your website freely with StatusCake and check your HTTPS configuration with Digicert.
