Description of problem:

We (gluster infra) have noticed that the c8 builders tend to have /var/log full quite fast. The root cause is the space used by /var/log/gluster/bricks , which is later stored uncompressed in tar files (some of or 2g), and that take more ressources than we planned.

Since that's mostly text files, that would compress well, and help
using less disk on the builders.

Logs are not stored on running the regression test suite. It should
fix the empty log directories when archived.
