What version of Go are you using (go version)?

1.8

What operating system and processor architecture are you using (go env)?

Linux

What did you do?

Looking at go tool compile -h, the -d option is a bit mysterious.

What did you expect to see?

A way to understand what to provide to the -d option instead of having to look at the source.

What did you see instead?

No real help on -d and no way to discover -d ssa/help
