I was observing failures opening a database "Corruption: no meta-nextfile entry in descriptor". This appears to have fixed the problem.

I was observing failures reopening a database after a failure shortly after creating it.
"Corruption: no meta-nextfile entry in descriptor".
This appears to have fixed the problem.
