[FEEDBACK][BALANCE]

With the way the law was previously written, a lizard or cow head of
staff would not be included in the chain of command, which was extremely
tedious to deal with for the AI.

This does not modify law 1 in any way. The interaction between the AI
and anti-griefing rules has not been touched.

This does affect non-human antagonists. Now, if a changeling asks the AI
to do something, they have to be overridden by someone higher-ranking,
like a staff assistant or clown. Changelings who have eaten the captain
are not the captain, after all.

This matches the previous interaction between law 2 and nuclear
operatives. As they are not in the station's chain of command, anyone
who is part of the crew can override their orders.

I have never seen it be an issue in all the times I've been Borg. Grief rules exist.

I don't think changelings should be allowed to command the AI, nor does this prevent the AI from killing monkeys/lizard/etc.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the grief rules.

Given Silicons have to follow laws and rules it does. I have never, even in main, seen "not following your order Captain coz you're a lizard" someone repeatedly doing that would likely get ahelped. Consistently doing shitty behaviour to non-human players purely for being a lizard etc is griefing no?

If playing the game correctly requires not following one of the ingame instructions, then that instruction is wrong.

BenLubar my reply is the same as in the 2nd or 3rd forum thread concerning this proposed change.

  1. Hard no.

  2. Would you be so kind and name any instance of this sort of current system being a problem in an existing round on a consistent basis?
