Priority Dict

WARNING: This is a work in progress. Not everything stated here is true.

PriorityDict is an Apache2 licensed implementation of a dictionary which maintains key-value pairs in value sort order.

Quickstart

Installing PriorityDict is simple with pip:

> pip install prioritydict

You can access documentation in the interpreter with Python's built-in help function:

>>> from prioritydict import PriorityDict
>>> help(PriorityDict)

Contribute

Collaborators are welcome!

  1. Check for open issues or open a fresh issue to start a discussion around a bug. There is a Contributor Friendly tag for issues that should be used by people who are not very familiar with the codebase yet.
  2. Fork the repository on GitHub and start making your changes to a new branch.
  3. Write a test which shows that the bug was fixed.
  4. Send a pull request and bug the maintainer until it gets merged and published. :)
