A user should be able to withdraw money at any time, not just during payday (#22).

The exception is that users should not be able to withdraw money during payday, to prevent abuse (see #160).

I'm not sure I see the value in a one off payment, don't you want to encourage users to all be automatic each week?

See #5 for one-off gifts.

This ticket refers to pay_outs_. Like, "I have money in my account. I should be able to withdraw it whenever I want and not have to wait for the end of the week. It's my money!"

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I guess my points are:

  1. If it can be setup to automatically transfer all my due money into my account each week when and why would I ever need a one off withdrawal?
  2. Also, why would you have some in your account and be waiting for the end of the week? Wont it be transferred to you straight after payday with automatic payments? (or do you get it a week later?)

Now that payouts are implemented, the way it works is that it reserves money in your account to cover your gifts out the next week. So if I'm set up to tip $10 and receive $40, then I'll end up with $30 transfered automatically each week, and $10 stays in my account for the week to cover gifts out the next.

That said, I agree that this isn't a big deal right now and it's not clear that it will become one in the future. If it does we'll reopen.
