An example of building and packaging an Electron application using Gradle.
Run the following command to build the example application:
./gradlew npm_install
Run the following command to start the example application during development:
./gradlew npm_start
If during the course of development you need to clear the node_modules
directory, run the following command:
./gradlew npm_clean
Run the following command to package the example as a native electron application:
./gradlew npm_run_dist
This command will create an installer in the dist
folder. By default the build command will only generate an installer for the current platform and architecture.
