This was a report from a user in Iran, he said he was able to connect to Tor using obf4 Bridges, but after his device updated to Android 10 he hasn't been able to connect.

I tested Orbot on Android 10 (Graphene OS) with success. (Only as additional input).

Do you have any issues where the connection hangs on Orbot is starting and won't establish the connection at all?

I'm having that issue and I'm not using bridges. I'm using VPN and running on 17.1-20200409-NIGHTLY-beryllium. The log shows:
"....
checking binary version: 0.4.2.5-openssl1.0.2p
updating settings in Tor service
updating torrc custom configuration...
success."

It seems to never get to build a circuit.

I've tried force app and force app combined with clear cache but to no success.

Sorry. The Orbot Version is:
16.1.4-RC-1-tor-0.4.2.5-rc

Device build number: aosp_oneplus2-userdebug 10 QQ2A.200405.005 7bd3f90efc release-keys

Does not work: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/Kreyren/b586cc0dea2b5f781fc5ee1f1194012b/raw/d5aacb3c1614892ace91054126bc1ba603cc16b4/gistfile1.txt

Private DNS was off

Same issue with private DNS set as automatic: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/Kreyren/e48a683308f6062cbd7eaf916726a982/raw/536588ca45f37185cd7c200393c18a1ea172f669/gistfile1.txt

Btw. I'm kreyren on Freenode and OFTC IRCs if you prefer chat (both allow tor users).

What is not working? It says "NOTICE: Bootstrapped 100% (done): Done "

What are you expecting?

@n8fr8 Ok sorry! The bootstrapping seems to work based on the output (not sure how to test it without VPN mode)

@Kreyren, you may want to test https://github.com/guardianproject/orbot/releases/tag/16.2.0-BETA-3-tor-0.4.2.7. It contains a fix for VPN mode. If it doesn't fix your issue, consider opening a new ticket.

@pgerber Comment #302 (comment) is on 16.2.0-BETA-3-tor-0.4.2.7, VPN mode also not working.
