Orbot does not work on Android 10 #302
Comments
I tested Orbot on Android 10 (Graphene OS) with success. (Only as additional input). |
Do you have any issues where the connection hangs on Orbot is starting and won't establish the connection at all? |
I'm having that issue and I'm not using bridges. I'm using VPN and running on 17.1-20200409-NIGHTLY-beryllium. The log shows: It seems to never get to build a circuit. I've tried force app and force app combined with clear cache but to no success. |

@n8fr8 Tried VPN mode in browsers (firefox, Via) checked agains check.torproject.org which reports it as not working Or is this irelevant to this issue? |
Sorry this ticket isn't about the VPN feature. There are other tickets for that. This is about does Orbot startup, connect with obfs4 / community bridges enabled. We will close this ticket and move your vpn report to the right place.

@n8fr8 Ok sorry! The bootstrapping seems to work based on the output (not sure how to test it without VPN mode) |
FWIW with orbor running and this configuration on firefox (both with tls and without): i was unable to pass check.torproject.org New log https://gist.github.com/Kreyren/1b36370abd7a5754e6405fd1e69f06e3 |
@Kreyren, you may want to test https://github.com/guardianproject/orbot/releases/tag/16.2.0-BETA-3-tor-0.4.2.7. It contains a fix for VPN mode. If it doesn't fix your issue, consider opening a new ticket. |
@pgerber Comment #302 (comment) is on 16.2.0-BETA-3-tor-0.4.2.7, VPN mode also not working. |
