Switch to the directory to install the packages and run:

       curl -OL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lsst/lsst/master/scripts/newinstall.sh
       bash newinstall.sh -ct

Answer 'yes' to install lsst's own python environment. And continue:

       source loadLSST.bash
       eups distrib install lsst_sims -t <sims_weekly_tag>
       curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lsst/shebangtron/master/shebangtron | python
       setup lsst_sims -t <sims_weekly_tag>

An example of the <sims_weekly_tag> can be: sims_w_2019_14
To run a program, I need to do the following beforehand:

       source <my_lsst_environment>/loadLSST.bash
       setup lsst_sims -t <sims_weekly_tag>
       python <my_program>


ALSO: this version of the code works with new Opsims (e.g. baseline2018a, etc), which have renamed a few fields in the database.

###### These are install instructions for the gerlumph part of the code ######

The main external library that needs to be installed is the gerlumph++ library found here:

https://github.com/gvernard/gerlumphpp

After installing this library (and exporting its paths to the shell environment) you only need the jsoncpp third-party library:

https://github.com/open-source-parsers/jsoncpp

That's it!
Then just modify the $HERE variable in build.sh and run it:

./build.sh
