Overview

We need to create a list of questions for our guest speaker Dr. Hyun Joo Sandy Oh/UC Irvine attending on 2023-01-18 (tentative)

Action Items

  • Send issue to UI/UX Slack channel and ask UI/UX people to write their questions in the comments.
  • Collate the questions into a list of unique questions (non-duplicated questions).
  • Send them to the guest speakers within 2 weeks of their talk.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Hyun Joo Sandy Oh is an award-winning qualitative researcher, development consultant and DEI advocate with 15+ years of experience leading teams and research studies to inform decision making in media, entertainment and academia. Throughout her career, she has held positions around the world to conduct user and market research. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she's delivered talks and presentations on a global scale. Currently, she is leading UX research for Hack for LA's Youth Justice Navigator Project and serves as a Research Associate and Lecturer at UC Irvine. Dr. Oh is also leveraging her passion for DEI and research skills to advise and collaborate with executive producers, writers and studios on a number of scripted TV projects, including most recently Godfather of Harlem.
