The modem draws approximately 1.4 uA in Stop mode with the firmware compiled in release mode. When the firmware is compiled in debug mode, the Stop mode current increases to approximately 470 uA. The HAL keeps the flash memory powered when compiled in the debug mode (with the DEBUG preprocessor macro defined) which is what causes the power consumption increase.

When sleeping is disabled entirely via AT+SLEEP=0, the modem draws 10 mA when idle.

In low-power sleep mode (with the Stop mode disabled), the modem draws 4.5 mA when idle.

With full transmit power the peak power consumption of the modem can exceed 100 mA.
