"code-stamp" is the simple and most useful vscode extension.
code-stamp is used to add the time and author stamp to your code file. also, you can update the timestamp whenever you modify the file.
code-stamp supports all type of file extenstion.

Open the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows and Linux, Cmd+Shift+P on OS X) and search for code stamp.

there are two options available
- Add / Update code stamp
- Change Author Name

you can use Add / Update to add and update time stamp.

To change the author name select Change Author Name.
some extension files are not supported (soon it will be fixed).
