Overview

This workshop will guide you how to implement location services using HERE APIs within SAPUI5 environment. The workshop concludes with an SAPUI5 app showcasing a few features of the HERE Location Suite API Package. The following is an outline of what is covered:

Prerequisites

  • Establishing accounts with HERE and SAP

  • Basic Developer Experience

Discovery

  • Locating the HERE Location Suite API Package

Configuration

  • Creating Destinations at SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit

  • Create SAPUI5 App in SAP Web IDE

  • Configure Destinations in neo-app.json

  • Modify Manifest.json to Support HERE Settings

  • Create /here/here.properties to Store APP_ID & APP_CODE

Development

  • Modify View and Show Map
