Description

When I register via the subscribe button of the noptin-shortcode, I do receive an email, but within protonmail the following error-message is displayed:

This email has failed its domain's authentication requirements. It may be spoofed or improperly forwarded. Learn more

This doesn't help to build trust in my website.

Noptin uses your website's mailing server to send emails. Try signing up using the email address shown here and then fix the issues shown.

This will ensure your emails are authenticated.

You can also sign up for a free SMTP software and use it to send your Noptin emails.

Thanks picocodes. Have I understood you correctly that I should register the email from [image.png] Like this? [image.png] I have now a reload-count of 17 in the URL 🤔 regarding the free SMTP softwares. Which would you recommend? Thanks for your help 😊

Sorry, just read https://www.mail-tester.com/faq#work 😅 I am trying to let https://www.mail-tester.com/ receive another email from wordpress It seems like the email is not sent 🤔[image.png] And the website doesn't react [image.png] Do you have any ideas what I am still doing wrong?

The screenshots you're sharing aren't appearing. Please reply via this page instead of replying to the email.

I think your website has trouble sending emails as I can't reproduce the issue on any of my test sites. You can use this plugin to confirm if that's the case:- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-test-email/

Also check if you've disabled the option to send the default double opt-in email, in which case you'll have to write your own double opt-in email.

We've used ZeptoMail in the past and can recommend it.
