Hey there, I'm Harold and I was born in Mexico. I'm a coding fanatic and it's hands down my favorite thing to do. Whenever I have some free time, I like to kick back and play video games, especially RPG, open-world, and FPS games. Photography is another passion of mine and I enjoy capturing the beauty of the world around me. I'm also a bit of a foodie and love trying new things, while also exploring different cultures. I get a lot of satisfaction from learning new languages too, which is another one of my top favorite interests.
My journey in tech began during high school, where I was first inspired to create Minecraft mods. As my interest in programming grew, I began to explore web development and took a college course in the subject. While I excelled in the class, the cost of tuition made it impractical to continue, and I felt ready to pursue a self-directed education in tech.
With this goal in mind, I left college and enrolled in a bootcamp, where I honed my skills in a variety of technologies, including JavaScript, GO, HTML, CSS, SQL, AWS, and more. Through this program, I gained the knowledge and expertise needed to become a proficient software engineer.
Today, I am passionate about technology and find particular fascination in areas such as AI, game development, web development, firmware, and backend engineering. These fields present unique challenges, such as the complexities of creating effective UI/UX and developing firmware. However, I am always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and improve my skills in these areas.
As a software engineer, I am committed to ongoing learning and experimentation with new technologies. I am driven by a deep curiosity and a desire to stay ahead of emerging trends and developments in the field. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I approach every project with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
